Lady Grey & Co. was born from a lifelong love of making.

Our founder’s journey began at her mother’s old trundle Singer sewing machine, where she first discovered the joy of creating something with her own hands. That spark grew into a career spanning 35 years, 25 years of which she spent in America, developing products for two lifestyle brands. After decades away it was time to return home and build something more personal.

At Lady Grey & Co., we bring together a love of English tradition, horses and craftsmanship. Each piece is hand-made, with details that carry stories within them - like the handles crafted from leather once worn by polo ponies. These materials carry history, strength, and grace into a new life, becoming part of something designed to last for years to come.

A key element of our story is giving back to the equestrian community by donating 25% of the proceeds from every sale. This commitment reflects our dedication to supporting equestrian charities and nurturing the passion that unites us all.

Lady Grey & Co. is more than just a brand. It’s a return to roots, a celebration of heritage, and a way of honouring the things that shape us - creativity, craft and the countryside we call home.

Why ‘Lady Grey’?

The name “Lady Grey” comes from her trusted Land Rover Defender 90 - an enduring companion in the English countryside.

(Years earlier, her son christened their first Defender Daisy, but this time with encouragement from friends she embraced something a touch more refined: Lady Grey).

Just like the vehicle itself, the brand is grounded in heritage, utility and timeless character.
