There is undoubtedly something very special about our bond with the horse. Our equine heroes are so special and touch the hearts of both young and old. They can change lives in a moment, bring joy, excitement and are forever making us proud. Legacy of Legends was established in 2016 to offer Elite Horses a fitting and comfortable retirement once their careers are over but at the same time be supported by us when they need it most.
Just like all living beings, these magnificent horses inevitably grow old. When they can no longer compete, we believe they deserve — and have truly earned — a kind and comfortable retirement that still allows their many fans to stay connected with them. We also believe there should be systems in place to protect these hardworking heroes once their competitive days are over. Sadly, several of our horses have ended up in difficult situations simply because they were lost or forgotten after their careers ended. We’ve been able to reunite some of them with their former owners, who are often shocked and heartbroken to learn what became of their old friends. Alongside our rescue horses, we also care for those who have been lovingly and intentionally retired to us by their thoughtful owners.

Power of Polo is a unique grassroots charity. Our mission is to positively impact the lives of people facing social, economic or health challenges, utilising the sport of polo.
Our strapline ‘change your line’ refers to how this sport can help participants change the direction of their life and is taken from the most important rule of the game: the line of the ball.
Power of Polo’s model is one of partnership, collaboration and facilitation. We bring together partner charities, polo clubs and other relevant organisations, and build programmes to support people from a range of backgrounds. We run both day and residential programmes which incorporate our three key pillars of sport, equine interaction and social mobility to build resilience, confidence and aspiration. Our programmes challenge participants to learn the basics of horsemanship and polo, develop teamwork and life skills all whilst, crucially, enjoying respite and fun.
We are proud to be partnering with Lady Grey & Co., and grateful to its founder, Tanja Norris, for supporting our cause. Please visit www.powerofpolo.org.uk to learn more, and sign up to our mailing list for regular updates.

At Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), we enrich lives through the unique bond between people and horses. Each year, we support over 39,000 disabled children and adults through activities including riding, carriage driving, and equine assisted programmes such as Quiet Corners and Tea with a Pony. We are pioneers in the therapeutic use of horses, leaders in disability sport, and the only major UK charity focused specifically on the health and wellbeing benefits of bringing people and horses together.
Our innovative programmes improve mobility, boost physical health and mental wellbeing, build confidence, and teach new skills. This is all made possible by over 13,700 volunteers, 1,700 qualified coaches, 2,800 equines, and more than 390 RDA groups and 50+ Approved centres.
RDA welcome people of all ages and abilities, including those with physical and learning disabilities, sensory impairments, long-term health conditions, and neurodiversity. With 24% of the UK population classified as disabled, we make a lasting impact through the therapeutic power of horses.
Our groups work across the UK, from cities to rural areas, bringing the joy and benefits of horses to as many people as we can.
