Noble Endeavour
Paige decided to preserve the memory of her cherished Noble Endeavour by entrusting us to transform his head collar into a bag she could use daily.
The Process:
Disassembly into Individual Pieces
We gently dismantle the head collar into its component parts: leather straps, buckles, and brass fittings.
Leather Restoration
Each leather piece is cleaned using specialised leather cleaners.
The leather is conditioned with premium oils to restore suppleness and richness.
Design & Pattern Creation
We conceptualise the bag design, focusing on utilising the original leather pieces to retain character and history, and create the pattern.
Material Selection
Complementary materials are chosen—luxurious fabrics that enhance the bag's aesthetic and durability.
Bag Construction
The chosen materials are cut according to the pattern.
Components are stitched using traditional techniques, ensuring strength and elegance.
Adding the Brass Horse Name Tag
The original brass horse name tag is restored and securely attached to the bag, ensuring prominence and durability.
Finishing Touches
Every detail is inspected for quality assurance.
The bag is packed with protective coverings, ready for dispatch.
